Job Description & How to Apply Below
Shape the Arteries of a Newbuild Before the sparks fly, you’re on deck with drawings in hand—scanning system layouts, planning routes, and staging materials. As the shift ramps up, you verify measurements, prep copper‑nickel, stainless, steel, and galvanized runs, and set valves and fittings so every line hits its mark. By day’s end, another critical system is aligned, tested for fit, and ready for the next craft to tie in.

Compensation $52.99 per hour + $180 per day per diem

What You’ll Tackle Plan, fit, and install complex shipboard piping systems using copper‑nickel, stainless, steel, and galvanized materials.

Interpret and execute from blueprints, isometrics, arrangements, and system schematics to place valves, fittings, and components precisely.

Use hand and power tools along with precision measuring devices to achieve exact alignment and support placements.

Operate confidently in a shipyard—at elevation, in confined spaces, and outdoors in variable weather.

Coordinate with multiple crews and support production across shifts to keep build schedules on track.

Embed rigorous safety practices in every step of your install and setup.

What You Bring Hands‑on pipe fitting background in shipyard, industrial, or construction settings.
