Assistant Professor of Anthropology – Columbia Basin College
The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Columbia Basin College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Anthropology. We seek a faculty member with a strong foundation in Biological Anthropology and the capacity to teach across the discipline. Applicants with interdisciplinary experience and a record of effective instruction in introductory courses are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and the flexibility to teach in both face-to-face and online formats.
This position reports to the Dean for Social & Behavioral Sciences and Education.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is $80,024.00 - $84,074.00 for a 176-day contract over the Instructional Year (Fall/Winter/Spring Quarters). Additional compensation may be available for assignment of summer quarter courses or courses taught outside of the full-time position during fall, winter, and spring.
