ResponsibilitiesThe School of Social and Behavioral Sciences invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track faculty position in History. The successful candidate will specialize in United States History from the colonial era through the present and demonstrate the ability to teach broadly across the discipline. Additional teaching opportunities may include courses in related areas consistent with the candidate’s background and departmental needs. Applicants should demonstrate flexibility, broad intellectual engagement, and a commitment to inclusive, student‑centered pedagogy across instructional modalities.
This position reports to the Dean for Social & Behavioral Sciences and Education.
The salary range for this position is $80,024.00 – $84,074.00 for a 176‑day contract over the Instructional Year (Fall/Winter/Spring Quarters). Additional compensation may be available for assignment of summer quarter courses or courses taught outside the contract.
