We are currently seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced part-time Medical Assistant instructors to teach in a blended course environment. The blended environment combines face‑to‑face interaction, such as in‑class discussions, active group work, live lectures, and lab work, with web‑based technologies like discussion boards, open forums, and a learning management system. This approach provides flexible scheduling while maintaining the value of a face‑to‑face learning environment.
This position reports to the Program Manager.
Responsibilities- Participate in student retention efforts, reminding students of missed assignments and encouraging participation of all students on your roster, and promptly identifying and assisting “at risk” students.
- Prepare and provide all lecture, laboratory and clinical instruction according to the required curriculum.
- Follow current course outlines, objectives, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Maintain a lesson plan of daily instructional events.
- Monitor student attendance and retention and document as required by administration.
- Process course end grades according to policy.
- Grade assignments, return graded assignments to students, and assign final grades for all students in a timely manner.
- Provide educational assistance to students during regularly scheduled times or by appointment.
- Substitute in classes when necessary.
- Advise students on school policies, satisfactory performance, etc., and maintain communication with Program Manager.
- Submit in writing current textbook, supply, and equipment needs to the Program Manager.
- Monitor equipment and supply inventory in locked facilities.
- Secure consumable supplies and educational materials from the administrative office when needed.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- Communicate with Program Manager on all student‑related issues.
- Maintain professional expertise by attending seminars, reading literature, and completing online courses to meet accreditation standards.
- Ensure students follow the catalog guidelines daily.
- Attend all scheduled mandatory meetings.
- Serve on committees (e.g., curriculum development, retention) as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Current Certification as a Medical Assistant (CCMA required).
- Two (2) years’ experience in the field.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in a blended teaching environment preferred but not required.
- Part‑time.
- Pay by course taught – $1,250.00 per course paid over five weeks of class.

- Day shift (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday).

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
ExperienceMedical Assistant with 2 years of experience (required).
Licensing & CertificationCCMA certification required.
RelocationMust relocate to Pasco, WA 99301 before starting work.
Work LocationIn‑person.
