Adult Outpatient Team

Program Overview:

The Adult Outpatient Mental Health Team provides therapeutic services to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and co-occurring substance use. This internship placement offers practical training in community-based behavioral health, with weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed mental health professional.

Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:

• Conduct intake assessments and assist in developing person-centered treatment plans.
• Co-facilitate individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Document clinical services and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case reviews.
• Gain exposure to evidence-based practices and recovery-oriented approaches to care.
