We are currently hiring a full-time Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader that can drive continuous improvement and build Twin City Foods’s (TCF) CI capability from the ground up. The candidate selected will identify, plan, and implement CI projects to improve TCF process Safety, Quality and Productivity.
What We’re Looking ForThe CI leader will be responsible for training, coaching and mentoring team members through kaizen events, structured problem solving, shop floor improvements, and CI training. Essential to have great communication and writing skills, and the ability to review and amend management procedures. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with executive management teams, project teams and cross‑functional departmental teams.
What You Need To Be Successful- A Four‑year degree in business, engineering or related field or 5‑7 years’ experience in manufacturing/production.
- Valid WA State driver’s license.
- 5+ years operations experience – Food processing preferred.
- 3‑5 years continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Working knowledge with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent communicator at all levels from shop floor team members, to facility leadership.
- Ability to analyze information and data (and teach others to do so) to facilitate problem solving and corrective action.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and statistics in operational and business situations.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.

- Works with facility leaders and teams to identify process improvement opportunities and create CI roadmap.
- Implements process improvements and helps facilitate improvement initiatives.
- Develops standard operating procedures in conjunction with process experts.
- Manages project improvement initiatives.
- Trains workforce on tools and methodologies related to Continuous Improvement.
- Coaches and mentors teams through problem solving activities and implementation of corrective actions.
- Uses knowledge of food processing practices, procedures, and equipment to standardize methods and drive continuous improvement activities.
- Benchmarks companies, attends meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions/courses to remain current with continuous improvement practices and industry trends.
