Per Diem Nurse Practitioner

The Per Diem Nurse Practitioner role at Kinwell Health is a primary care opportunity located in Pasco, Washington. This position offers a flexible schedule and the chance to impact patient well‑being in an innovative clinic environment.

• Provide care for a full spectrum primary care clinic, addressing acute and chronic care needs.
• Be curious and keep more care in primary care; solve problems, answer questions, and spend quality time learning on behalf of patients.
• Offer patients and family members counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate follow‑up during each visit.
• Collaborate with clinicians, specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in person or by video in the best interest of patients.
• Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with credentialing/privileging policy.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.

• Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date.
• Completion of Nurse Practitioner program at the master’s level, with a national certification from one of the following organizations:
  American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurses Credentialing Center.
• 2+ years of experience is strongly preferred.
• Able to consistently work at least one day Monday through Friday.
• A special interest, experience, fellowship, or degree in primary care.
• Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
• Ability to be credentialed under Medicare.
• Flexibility with scheduling to cover varying clinic shifts.
• Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills.

This position operates in a clinic environment, providing both in-person and telehealth care. Collaboration with various healthcare providers is routine, and participation in wellness programs may also be required.

Ability to work in a clinical environment, interact with patients for prolonged periods, and perform duties requiring a high level of concentration and emotional resilience.
