Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Job in Pasco, Washington. Healthcare Setting: Acute/Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (10 beds)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens, Travel Nursing
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekly
Hours:
36 guaranteed
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (August 25, 2025 – November 24, 2025)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
Patient Ratio: 5:1
Electronic Health Record: Meditech
Medication Administration: Omnicell
QualificationsRegistered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Washington state or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Rehabilitation nursing experience and GG scoring documentation preferred
- CCRN certification preferred (not required)
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
- Ability to float to Med/Surg unit as needed
- Provide high-quality clinical care to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury diagnoses
- Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document care using Meditech EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure accurate medication administration utilizing Omnicell systems
- Float to Med/Surg unit as needed to support hospital operations
- Maintain professional nursing standards and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
