Overview

Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Job in Pasco, Washington. Advance your nursing career with a locum tenens opportunity in an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit serving adult and geriatric patients in Washington Wine Country. Pasco, part of the Tri-Cities area, offers river fronts, outdoor activities, and access to major U.S. cities.

Location: Pasco, WA 99301 – Washington Wine Country, Tri-Cities region

Healthcare Setting: Acute/Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (10 beds)

Employment Type: Locum Tenens, Travel Nursing

Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Weekly

Hours:

36 guaranteed

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (August 25, 2025 – November 24, 2025)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

Patient Ratio: 5:1

Electronic Health Record: Meditech

Medication Administration: Omnicell

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Washington state or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• Rehabilitation nursing experience and GG scoring documentation preferred
• CCRN certification preferred (not required)
• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
• Ability to float to Med/Surg unit as needed

• Provide high-quality clinical care to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury diagnoses
• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document care using Meditech EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure accurate medication administration utilizing Omnicell systems
• Float to Med/Surg unit as needed to support hospital operations
• Maintain professional nursing standards and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
