Overview
Medical Director opportunity at Mid-Columbia Pet Emergency Service (MCPES), a well-established emergency-only hospital serving Washington’s Tri-Cities region. Lead with purpose and provide mentorship within a collaborative, award-winning culture. This role offers strong earning potential and opportunities to shape the future of emergency veterinary care at MCPES.
Responsibilities- Lead a dedicated team of emergency veterinarians.
- Demonstrate strong surgical skills and provide mentorship to DVMs and shift leads.
- Foster a leadership presence that supports professional growth and client continuity.
- Experienced emergency veterinarian with strong surgical skills.
- Passionate about mentorship and leadership, eager to take on or expand a Medical Director role.
- Annual earning potential of $300K+ through 23–25% production (no negative accrual).
- Guaranteed minimum of 10 shifts per month (day or swing) with a $170K base.
- Shift Pay: $1,400 – Day (6am–6pm); $1,400 – Swing (1pm–1am); $1,600 – Night (6pm–6am).
- Medical Director stipend: $1,400/month ($16,800/year).
- Leadership CE allowance: $2,500 annually.

- 401(k) with up to 3% employer match; licensing, liability insurance, uniforms, memberships covered; relocation assistance available.
