The Role
  • Lead medical quality, client experience, and hospital efficiency while practicing high-quality medicine
  • Balance responsibilities with approximately 20-30 percent leadership and 70-80 percent clinical duties
  • Mentor associate veterinarians and paraprofessionals; foster a positive, growth-oriented team culture
  • Guide scheduling, workflow, and delegation to optimize productivity and patient care
  • Provide comprehensive preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
  • Develop treatment plans, communicate clearly with clients, and ensure thorough medical records
  • Uphold safety and compliance standards; support continuous improvement in protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with practice leadership on goals, budgeting, and operational performance
  • Engage in community-focused initiatives and preventive-care education
Requirements
  • DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Active Washington veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Proven clinical skills in small-animal general practice; routine surgery and dentistry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-mentoring ability
