Our Outdoor Sporting and Firearm Associates provide amazing customer service that encourages customers to choose Grigg's/ACE Hardware as their store of choice.

Outdoor Sporting Goods and Firearm Associates will assist with receiving, stocking, and pricing all merchandise in the Sporting Goods department. They will maintain a clean, orderly department while assisting customers with Amazing Customer Service. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about all forms of outdoor activities, such as fishing, hunting, camping, RVing, boating, and good old-fashioned barbecues, grills, smokers, and more.

State Law requirement:
You must be over 21 years of age and pass a Federal background check and fingerprinting.

• Assist customers in a friendly manner with their questions to find the products they are looking for.
• Assist in creating a safe, professional work environment.
• Assist with unloading freight, stocking shelves, maintaining backstock, rotating stock, and cleaning shelves.
• Assist in setting signage for sales.
• Assist with regular store maintenance and cleaning of the sales floor, back rooms, and outdoor areas.
• Assist customers in multiple service areas, including camping, fishing gear, hunting, State Licenses, and firearms.
• Help customers with special orders, entering the customer information for follow-up, and follow through on the sale.
• Participate in store meetings.
• Backup cashier.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• 21 YEARS OR OLDER
• PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
• PASS A FINGERPRINT CHECK
• Learn and exemplify the Helpful Ready policy of Grigg's/ACE Hardware
• Open availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong attention to detail orientation
• Possess self-management skills
• Able to perform basic math and computer skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Lift to 50 lbs., walk, stand, and bend
• Must have the ability to use a pallet jack and hand truck.
• Great communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent physical stamina.
