The Sales Representative position offers an exciting chance to fuel our company's growth. You'll oversee a broad array of existing independent convenience stores customers, driving sales through our varied food service and convenience programs. Your role extends beyond maintaining existing customers; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships. This role focuses on building success stories and enhancing profitability store by store, with compensation reflecting these achievements.

Responsibilities- Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers.
- Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Educate the customer on convenience and food service programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities.
- Review daily/weekly/monthly reports with the store manager and assist with any opportunities that may arise.
- Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on issues.
- Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory to ensure competitive pricing.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales.
- Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Note:
80% driving travel is required; the role may involve driving to customer locations and some overnight stays.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- 2+ years of B2B sales account management and consulting experience.
- Proven success in closing sales for a variety of product lines with B2B customers.
- General knowledge of food safety standards including basic HACCP practices and cold-chain integrity;
Serv-Safe certification is a plus. - Detail-oriented and organized, with ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to conduct professional, results-driven customer presentations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
- Energetic, entrepreneurial spirit with a competitive drive.
- Experience and track record of growing market share and providing consultative services to customers.
