Our client, a renowned building & construction firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as an Assistant Contracts Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide commercial and contractual support to the project team on matters relating to the main contract and subcontractors
- Coordinate with internal project stakeholders to ensure subcontract obligations, deliverables and key milestones are properly managed
- Review contractual requirements, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and contractual obligations
- Manage variations, change control and related commercial negotiations throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, including the necessary supporting documentation, for assessment and certification
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a main contractor, preferably within major infrastructure or rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims, variations and contract negotiation
