Senior Manager, Hospitality – Booker at Constellation Brands

Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Hospitality is responsible for creating and managing world‑class visitor programming that surprises, delights, and educates guests while maximizing onsite conversions. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of special winery programs and events, and future culinary or wine‑related projects. The Senior Manager champions a positive organizational culture by promoting Constellation Brands core values, fostering open communication, and encouraging team engagement to enhance morale and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create world‑class visitor programming that surprises, delights, and educates while implementing practices that maximize onsite conversions.
  • Manage the development and execution of special winery programs/events and all future culinary or wine‑related projects.
  • Drive a positive organizational culture by championing an inclusive and collaborative work environment and promoting Constellation Brands core values.
  • Develop community outreach plans and foster relationships with top‑tier hospitality professionals in Paso Robles to drive winery traffic.
  • Manage the selling and marketing of paid events.
  • Review monthly business reports and process monthly billing.
  • Develop the trade hospitality budget, ensuring adherence to budgets across departments.
  • Align the trade hospitality team to be best‑in‑class alongside affiliated brand, sales, and PR teams.
  • Manage protocol and procedures for winery service, events, and trade including staffing logistics.
  • Motivate, coach, and manage a large team to deliver wine club sign‑ups, revenue, and operating profit to plan.
  • Oversee departmental/property reporting functions, including staff scheduling and payroll.
  • Align with and support brand marketing initiatives, collaborating on annual programmed events such as new product releases and other consumer/trade experiences.
  • Assure hospitality environments are clean, safe, and maintain the highest level of appearance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Knowledge of and passion for wine and the culinary arts to provide world‑class guest experiences.
  • Proven experience building and managing department budgets, forecasts, and delivering financial reporting.
  • Strong project management skills and organizational ability.
  • Knowledge of wine and food service standards of customer service.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Reserve software and Adobe Publisher preferred.
Education / Experience
  • At least 6 years’ experience in a luxury hospitality operation with management expertise.
  • WSET II or Introductory Certification from the Court of Master Sommelier preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in food service management or hospitality.
  • Knowledge and experience of elevated level wine and food service standards and understanding of luxury décor and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • TIPS certified.
  • Food Service Manager certified.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid California driver’s license.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Some travel required.
