• Read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, upc codes, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
• Follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting up to 45 pounds, and occasional lifting up to 60 pounds.

The Part-time Retail Associate performs management-assigned duties, which may include stocking and maintaining a store section, carry-out services and store cleaning.

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed by store management.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
