About The Position Of Automotive MechanicAs a key member of the Mavis team, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of under‑car repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and other components. You will also conduct state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair and maintenance (or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties).
- Extensive personal toolbox for under‑car repairs.
- Preferred: state inspection license(s).
- Preferred: ASE Certifications – Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), Brakes (A5).
- Physical requirements:
stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds regularly.
