Position
Respiratory Therapist – RRT/CRT (Per Diem, Nights) – St. Mary's General Hospital, Passaic, NJ.
OverviewSt. Mary's General Hospital is a community-based tertiary medical center focused on delivering quality, compassionate care. It offers a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, cancer care, maternal‑child health, and behavioral health services.
Responsibilities- Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care based on age and population‑specific needs.
- In the absence of a supervisor, may serve as Lead RCP responsible for the section or department during the shift.
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate at hire and maintained.
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained.
- NRP certificate preferred.
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of RCP experience preferred.
Compensation range: $40.55 to $41.96 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary options.
Employment StatusPer Diem;
Nights shift.
