Overview
St. Mary's General Hospital is a community-based tertiary medical center focused on delivering compassionate, high‑quality care with a broad range of services including cardiovascular, cancer, maternal‑child and behavioral health. It is the only hospital in Passaic and employs over 1,000 staff.

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Float to two or more units as needed while maintaining competency across all assigned units.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
• Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current ACLS (ARC/AHA) certificate within 30 days and maintained thereafter.
• Current PALS (ARC/AHA) certificate within 30 days and maintained thereafter.
• Preferred:
  Minimum one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care setting.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency in assigned areas.

Compensation range: $41.24 to $53.47 per hour. Salary will be determined at selection based on skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and other voluntary options.
