• Location: Passaic, New Jersey (07055) – Northern NJ healthcare jobs
• Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750-$1870
• Call: Required (No exceptions)
• Open-heart experience: Required

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire)
• Current PALS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire)
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative (OR) nursing experience or on-the-job training
• Open-heart surgical experience required
• Pre/Post Op experience
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room
• Supervise and guide OR Technicians and other healthcare personnel, maintaining professional nursing standards
• Ensure efficient patient flow, unit maintenance, and organization in surgical services
• Comply with hospital and unit policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-service training
• Serve as a resource for other nursing and clinical staff
• Fulfill required call shifts as scheduled
