• Provide comprehensive school health services to students and staff in compliance with New Jersey Department of Education and state nursing standards.
• Assess and respond to student health concerns
  , including illnesses, injuries, chronic condition management, and emergencies.
• Administers prescribed medications, treatments, and first aid in accordance with standing orders and individual health plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records as required by state and district policies.
• Serve as a healthcare advocate and resource

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and Sunshine Homecare to ensure seamless continuity of care

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current BLS Certification required
• New Jersey Department of Education–approved Substitute School Nurse Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (school, pediatric, or acute care setting preferred)
• Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent health issues, including chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, allergies, seizure management)
• Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
