Senior Project Manager-Traveling-HVAC

We are a mechanical contractor that does large commercial projects. We are looking for a traveling Senior Project Manager to manage projects in Louisiana, Columbus OH, PA, and TN. Must be able to relocate temporarily for 2-3 years. A travel package that includes housing, food, utilities and flights home every other week is provided.

• Oversee all aspects of commercial HVAC projects from initial planning to completion.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms to ensure optimal outcomes for the company.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Manage project budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Continually monitor the quality of work being carried out, taking corrective action as necessary.
• Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment, leading by example at all times.

• Minimum of 8+ years experience in a similar role within the mechanical industry.
• Must be able to temporarily relocate to a project for its duration (2-3 years).
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
• 2‑year technical degree or Journeyman level required; 4‑year degree preferred.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Data Center or healthcare project experience as a plus.
