As a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, we’ve rapidly grown to over 1,500 associates and are now fully operational in our 1.1 million-square-foot factory. ** The primary responsibility of this position is to provide EHS support to our team in order to respond to both immediate needs and focus on continuous improvement.
** Responsibilities:
*** Respond to the immediate safety needs of the team.
* Provide initial response to EHS incidents.
* Participate in Incident Review meetings.
* Lead and track recycling and waste disposal.
* Facilitate facility wide EHS inspections and schedules.
* Help establish and grow the company’s safety culture and business through daily interaction with associates by actively listening and following through on projects.
* Ensure day-to-day compliance with EHS policies and regulations while focusing on continuous improvement.

* Qualifications:

*** Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Health and Safety or 3+ years of relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
* Possess a high level of attention to detail and organization.
* Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization and with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintains a positive attitude and displays proactive habits.
** Work Environment & Schedule
*** This role is fully onsite at the Illuminate USA manufacturing facility.
* Must be able to work a
** 12-hour overnight shift
*** Ability to
** lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–40 lbs
*** Frequent
** walking
* * throughout the production floor, warehouse areas, and outdoor facility spaces.

Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere.  This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Illuminate USA is seeking highly motivated team members to help the company grow from startup to a full scale, industry leading manufacturer with $1B - $2B expected annual revenue and over 1,200 employees in less than two years.
