* Job Summary:

** Illuminate USA is seeking a dynamic and strategic External Communications Specialist to lead external communications at our new Pataskala, Ohio facility. This role will drive efforts to enhance our brand presence, foster engagement within the community, and ensure clear, compelling messaging across all levels of the organization.

As the External Communications Specialist, you will develop and execute strategies that enhance brand visibility, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and elevate the Illuminate USA reputation. You will lead external messaging across media relations, corporate announcements, key events, and community engagement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards. This role partners closely with internal teams to translate company priorities into clear, compelling external communications and collaborates with internal communications to ensure consistent, unified messaging.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Manage messaging public relations, social media, and external branding to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate goals.
* Establish and maintain a strong, consistent brand voice across all communication platforms.
* Craft compelling written and visual content for company announcements, newsletters, executive messaging, and corporate storytelling.
* Support external-facing events, including community initiatives, industry conferences, and company-sponsored events, by developing event-specific messaging, promotional materials, and communication plans.
* Track engagement metrics and leverage insights to refine and optimize communication initiatives.
** What You’ll Bring
*** A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or public relations
* Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft clear and engaging messages.
* Familiarity with digital marketing, and public relations best practices.
* Ability to collaborate across departments, influence stakeholders, and drive communication strategies at scale.
* Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
