Our client is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local flatbed position in the Pataskala area. This role involves transporting lumber and building materials while operating a day cab with a 45–48-foot flatbed trailer. Drivers will be home daily and may receive training on Moffett and flatbed operations.
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $27.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Route: Local Ohio area
- Route type: Local
- Freight: Lumber and building materials
- Equipment: Day cab with a 45–48-foot flatbed trailer
- Handling: Light touch; stacked lumber is picked up with a Moffett, with some material handling by hand as needed
- Training will be provided on Moffett and flatbed operations
- Safely operate the assigned truck and equipment
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Assist with lumber cleanup and material handling as needed
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the position
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Ability to wear steel-toed boots
