Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related secretarial or office position

Graduate of a recognized secretarial studies program (preferred)

Excellent secretarial skills, including at least fifty (50) words per minute typing speed with minimal errors

Organizational and filing skills

Proficiency in electronic equipment for word processing, data management, information retrieval, and telecommunications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software

Ability to adapt to and utilize district's software programs

Proper telephone etiquette and voice inflection

Enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and community

Successful completion of an office skills proficiency screening

Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, with proper grammar and vocabulary

Ability to meet alternative qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent
