Lab Assistant I – Paterson, NJ

Join Quest Diagnostics as a Lab Assistant I in the Managed Laboratory Administration department. Support the day‑to‑day operations of the lab, including specimen handling, inventory management, and collaborative testing.

Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotational weekends.

Pay range: $17.20–$23.48 per hour. Eligible for a 10% shift differential on second shift and 15% on third shift.

• Provides a wide variety of support for assigned lab department.
• Picks up samples from accessioning and sorts samples into appropriate racks.
• Answers phone and directs calls appropriately.
• Unpacks and stores reagents and supplies.
• Inventories and orders warehouse supply items.
• Sorts samples and distributes them to the appropriate setup hood. Manages specimen library within established time frames.
• Performs waived tests under supervision.
• All other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
