We are seeking a Learning Center Assistant for our Student Support Services–Classic Program.

This is a grant funded, part–time, hourly position.

Example of Duties:

• As a Learning Center Assistant, you will monitor the learning center ensuring all students sign in and out and adhere to program policies and procedures for the center.
• Maintain and keep the learning center clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• The student-employee should be able to have basic technical computer knowledge.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable, mature, actively responsible, organized, accountable, and be able to pay attention to details.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality, follow through on directions and complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Must maintain a professional interactive and/or telephone manner, possess respectful verbal communication with both staff and students; and. be aware of keeping a presentable casual business attire.
• Completed at least one (1) full semester at PCCC.
• Have a flexible schedule and Saturday availability.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $16 .

  Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
