Overview
Associate Transport Services role eph's Health. Performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department to transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas, handle STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharge patients to designated areas, transport outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and provide other delivery services using the Transport Tracking System.
Responsibilities- Transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas
- Process STAT requests for specimens and patients
- Discharge patients to designated areas
- Transport outpatients to inpatient and testing areas
- Provide other delivery services utilizing the Transport Tracking System
- HS diploma preferred. No previous work experience required.
- Ability to read and understand written instruction.
- CPR certificate must be obtained within 6 months and maintained after hire.
- Effective January 2019, all employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be granted through the American Heart Association.
