Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, sanitary, and aseptic by scouring, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing using approved germicides and cleaners. Removes trash from containers. Performs high dusting, spot cleaning, bathroom cleaning, restocks all dispensers throughout the facility, and cleans offices, utility rooms, lounges, and other areas as assigned by supervisor.

• Works with equipment or performs procedures where carelessness could result in minor injuries.
• Works in areas with exposure to hazardous chemicals or carcinogenic agents, requiring caution and safety guidelines.
• Works in areas with exposure to radiation, requiring caution and safety guidelines.
• Works in environments with blood and body fluids, requiring caution and safety measures.
• Works in uncomfortable conditions due to extreme temperatures, noise, odors, etc.
• Handles hot liquids, toxic or flammable chemicals, or contaminated materials with caution and safety measures.

• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or ramps; stooping or bending.
• Manual dexterity, reach, and grasping.
• Color vision to identify and distinguish colors.
• Ability to hear and communicate orally.
• Pushing or pulling supply carts.

• Ability to read and understand written instructions; no previous experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; 3-6 months of on-the-job training and orientation.
