Registered Nurse - Full Time - 7PM-7:30AM (Med/Surg/Vents)

Job Description:

Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on his/her assigned unit.

• Utilize the Nursing Process in collaboration with the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within St. Joseph’s Healthcare System and on the assigned unit.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred (knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts).
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.
• Effective January 2019, certifications for BLS, ACLS and PALS to be granted through the American Heart Association.
