Position: Registered Nurse - Part-Time 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Emergency Department)

Overview

Registered Nurse - Part-Time 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Emergency Department) at St. Joseph’s Health

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with the nurse’s scope of practice.
  • Support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on the assigned unit.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
  • Successful completion of department-specific orientation and department-specific certifications of ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within two years of hire.
  • Certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association as required by policy since January 2019.
