Charge Nurse – Full‑Time (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Emergency Department)
Join St. Joseph’s Health as a Charge Nurse responsible for the organization and management of nursing personnel practices during a designated shift. Ensure a professional environment and assist staff as necessary. Evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing care given.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse licensure by the State of New Jersey.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Two to three years of previous work related experience.
- Six to twelve months of on‑the‑job training and orientation.
- Proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire.
- Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and solve problems.
- Strong communication skill to counsel and educate patients, family, and staff.
