Nurse Extern

Job Description

Under the immediate supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides general nursing care and coordinates patient care for a group of patients. Cares for infants through geriatric age groups. After evaluation of competency, the Nurse Extern is allowed to perform all the duties of a PCA as well as other technical duties, which have been learned in a nursing education program for which competency has been validated by a preceptor.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
