Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Paterson, NJ for a Quality System Manager
. The Quality System Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s quality management systems, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, and managing internal and external audits.
Key responsibilities include implementing and improving quality assurance processes, conducting training for employees on quality standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and collaborating closely with production and office teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
This role is designed for a high-potential quality leader and includes a defined growth path to Director of Quality as the company expands its systems, certifications, and customer base. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in shaping LFA’s long‑term quality strategy.
- Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 annually

- Strong working knowledge of quality management systems (
ISO 9001 required; AS9100 exposure or interest strongly preferred
) - Experience supporting audits, documentation control, and corrective/preventive action systems
- amiliarity with process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement tools
- Manufacturing experience required; wire, metals, or precision manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Familiarity with advanced quality and test equipment, including tensile testing systems, high‑resolution microscopes, precision measurement tools (micrometers, gauges), and XRF analyzers.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to train and influence across production and office teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment
