As a Field Service Specialist for HVAC and Refrigeration, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of complex climate control systems. You will leverage your advanced troubleshooting expertise to resolve mechanical and electrical challenges, directly impacting the operational efficiency of our commercial and retail partners.
About the RoleAs a Field Service Specialist for HVAC and Refrigeration, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of complex climate control systems. You will leverage your advanced troubleshooting expertise to resolve mechanical and electrical challenges, directly impacting the operational efficiency of our commercial and retail partners.
Responsibilities- Execute complex diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of commercial HVAC/R equipment, including RTUs, boilers, and refrigeration units.
- Drive system longevity by performing comprehensive preventative maintenance and thorough equipment inspections.
- Manage the end-to-end installation of HVAC components, ensuring all systems meet high-performance standards.
- Analyze electrical and control system malfunctions to provide effective, long-term technical solutions.
- Consult with clients to offer expert recommendations regarding necessary repairs or system upgrades.
- Maintain precise digital records of service activities, work orders, and site-specific documentation.
- Uphold safety excellence by strictly adhering to industry best practices and maintaining a well-organized service vehicle.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in commercial HVAC/R environments.
- Current EPA Universal Certification.
- Completion of an accredited HVAC technical training program.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical control systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Physical capability to perform tasks on rooftops, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
- Experience working with systems ranging from 1 to 50+ tons.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics.
- Demonstrated history of providing high-level customer service in a field-based role.
