Schedule:
40 hours per week (Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday 4:00pm-12:00am, Wednesday‑Friday 4:00pm-12:00am)
Job Summary: Ensure a clean and orderly physical plant and take a leadership role in maintaining a safe, disciplined, and caring environment on the unit.
Responsibilities- Participate in employee hiring and termination processes and recommend disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and caring environment on the unit and wherever clients travel within or outside the agency.
- Assume responsibilities of Residential Life Supervisor in their absence.
- Have thorough knowledge of Straight & Narrow's policies and enforce them.
- Provide guidance and assign tasks to Residential Life Associates on the shift.
- Cover Residential Life Associate shifts when understaffed.
- Provide crisis intervention and one‑on‑one counseling to clients as needed.
- Attend client interventions, case conferences, and MDTs as needed.
- Coordinate clients' sick calls.
- Ensure clients attend outside appointments on time; conduct person searches upon return.
- Ensure daily client count sheet is prepared.
- Schedule and supervise clients' daily housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and order household supplies for the unit.
- Conduct multiple daily checks of clients' rooms to ensure order.
- Report and investigate any issues or damages to the client's rooms.
- Notify kitchen in advance of activities that require meal changes.
- Ensure new clients are greeted and oriented appropriately.
- Follow dress code policy, wearing staff shirts.
- Document interventions and one‑on‑one sessions with clients.
- Prepare client count sheet as assigned.
- Ensure family visits are conducted professionally following policies.
- Ensure daily tasks are completed before shift end.
- Follow all EHR policies.
- Complete Detox and Naltrexone training within 60 days.
- Submit PTO requests via Paylocity 30 days prior.
- In absence of RL Supervisor, take over responsibilities.
- Associate degree with one year supervisory experience.
- 60 CADC credits / Recovery Specialist or High School Diploma with five years relevant experience.
- CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
- Clear Child Abuse Record Information (CARI).
- Good computer skills.
