Responsibilities:

Formulate accurate diagnoses based on gathered information and test results
Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medications, surgery, or other therapeutic interventions
Prescription and Medication Management:
Prescribe appropriate medications and dosage, considering the patient's condition, medical history, and potential interactions
Monitor and adjust medication regimens as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Procedures and Surgeries:
Perform minor medical procedures within their scope of practice
Refer patients to specialists for advanced procedures or surgeries when necessary
Health Promotion and Disease Prevention:
Educate patients about preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle modifications
Conduct screenings for various conditions and recommend immunizations
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
Document diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans in the patient's medical history
Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate care
