Senior Accounts Manager

The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for  end-to-end hotel accounting operations , statutory compliance, financial controls, and managerial oversight of the accounts department. The role demands  strong hotel-sector experience , compliance expertise, and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities   Manage  complete hotel accounting operations  including:
Daily revenue accounting
Expense monitoring
Cash & bank reconciliation
Ensure  GST compliance , filing of returns, and coordination with consultants
Handle  statutory compliances , taxation, and audit requirements
Oversee  hotel billing systems , night audit coordination, and revenue checks
Prepare  monthly MIS reports , P&L statements, and financial analysis
Coordinate with  internal & external auditors
Maintain strong  financial controls  and SOP adherence
Lead, train, and supervise the  accounts team
Support management with  budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Liaise with operations departments for financial accuracy and reporting
Ensure compliance with  company policies and hotel industry standards
Eligibility & Experience (Mandatory)    Minimum 5 years' experience as a Manager
Out of which  minimum 3 years must be in a hotel , working as  Lead / Head of Accounts
Hotel experience must be  part of the total 5 years
Must have  complete managerial-level experience in hotel accounts
Prior experience in  4-Star / 5-Star hotels preferred
Educational Qualification    M.Com OR CA Qualified   (mandatory)
Skills & Competencies   Strong knowledge of  hotel accounting practices
In-depth understanding of  GST, taxation, and statutory filings
Proficiency in  MIS preparation and financial reporting
Leadership and team-handling skills
High attention to detail and compliance orientation
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Strong coordination and communication skills
