Overview
Work Location Type: Onsite. This position is on-site at the Patterson, CA distribution center. This is a 2nd shift Human Resource Generalist role with start time in the afternoon.
Position: Human Resource Generalist
Responsibilities- Serve as a Business Partner to operational counterparts while directly guiding team members and other members of leadership.
- Translate human capital effects to support goals such as change projects, building talent, engaging team members, enhancing culture and improving performance.
- Facilitate programs and implement process improvements within Human Resources and across the Distribution Center.
- Handle ongoing people-related projects and implement Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs aligned with the company strategy.
- Identify ways to improve resources to provide an efficient structure to the organization.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State legislation related to all human resources matters.
- Manage vendors to administer employee programs.
- Assist with the implementation and administration of communications plans.
- Assist in administering the workers’ compensation program for the facility.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field required.
- A degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent progressive experience.
- Working knowledge of human resources practices with expertise in staffing, new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Experience solving human resources issues and managing confidential information.
- Ability to diagnose problems, develop alternative solutions, and recommend and implement a course of action.
- Proficiency in systems, Excel (capable of maintaining complex spreadsheets), Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $71,800.00 to $. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation and may vary based on geographic location and experience. The compensation described is subject to change.
