Field Service Technician-Level 1 – Associate (0 – 5 Years) Job Details

Job Title: Field Technician (Utility / Solar)

Location: Crows Landing CA 95313

Duration: 6 months contract

Salary: $18 – 23/hr. on W2

Vegetation Management at Proxima / Paulsell Solar.

• Herbicide
• Mowing
• Servicing Equipment
• Towing Trailer

• Must be able to install equipment in support of network and customer requirements, maintain site security and cleanliness, and oversee contractors for maintenance, repair, and restoration of components.
• Duties include troubleshooting issues, replacing defective modules, tracking spares, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining technical documentation.
• For technicians working on fibre optic transmission
• Responsible for maintaining and installing electronic equipment used for telecommunications, including fibre optic transmission equipment, lightwave multiplexing equipment, digital multiplexers, channel banks, circuit termination equipment, and DC power equipment.
• Must have a working knowledge of personal computers, common software, and Sonet and Ethernet systems.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read service orders and basic circuit diagrams.
• 0 – 5 years of field experience.
• Assist with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Learn and apply procedures related to process and operations.
• Work under supervision on senior technicians.
