Your Mission:
We are seeking a  Purchasing Intern  to join our Procurement Team based in our HQ in Milan! The Purchasing Intern will support the Procurement Manager in managing the sourcing of materials, services, and subcontractors for construction sites and Venchi retail stores. The role will contribute to cost control, on-time delivery, and quality of supplies, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the management of purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services
Request, collect, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
Enter and update purchase orders in the company’s ERP system
Monitor deliveries in coordination with construction sites and retail stores
Support the management and development of supplier relationships
Verify procurement documentation (purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, contracts)
Support cost analysis activities by project
Collaborate with the Technical Department and the Finance/Administration team
Assist in ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures

The ideal candidate:
Degree or ongoing studies in Civil/Building Engineering, Management Engineering, Architecture, Economics, or related fields
Good knowledge of Excel and standard IT tools
Fluency in English
Accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Problem-solving attitude
Good communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and cost awareness
