• 6+ years of relevant buyer experience
• Comfortable covering multiple plants/locations

• Indirect procurement experience with building and maintenance projects and contractors
• Manufacturing background
• Exposure to M3 or Medius

• Coordinate all aspects of critical and sometimes complex indirect goods and services with $3–$10M in spend management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery for goods and services as authorized by management.
• Communicate negotiations and procurement results to management and impacted stakeholders.
• Manage the buying process from purchase authorization to payment authorization, including resolution of receipt, pricing, terms and delivery discrepancies.
• Coordinate with materials management to obtain demand requirements for goods and services.
• Provide procurement support for all assigned products to corporate functions including supply chain, production, maintenance, and engineering.
• Manage supplier relationships, including SCARs, supplier spend analysis and scoreboards.
• Conduct annual supplier evaluations and problem resolution when suppliers fail to meet contractual obligations.
• For critical or complex materials, maintain corporate cost standards used for finished product cost roll‑ups.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent business/technical area.
• 6+ years of buying experience.

• Safe, successful performance of essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other standards.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other standards.
• Lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Communicate clearly on the telephone.
