• Manage day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance tuning of on-prem SQL Server environments
• Install, configure, and patch SQL Server instances, including managing SQL Server Agent jobs
• Maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, providing support to application teams and vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and processes

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology
• Strong understanding of SQL Server database administration
• Ability to work independently on routine database administration tasks
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Familiarity with cloud database technologies, including Google Cloud SQL and Postgres
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and scripting languages like T-SQL, Python, or Power Shell
