Looking to strengthen our Software R&D team,
Boschung Mecatronic AG is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong expertise in backend development, microservices, and database design. Passionate about innovation and modern technologies, you will contribute to the development of the current and next generation of Boschung's intelligent software platforms — leveraging AI-assisted development and cloud-native technologies to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

• Conception and development of microservices
• Database modeling
• Continuous integration and deployment in collaboration with the IT-Support team
• Definition and implementation of tests
• Corrective maintenance and evolution of existing components
• Ensure the backend development of current and future projects
• Participate in cross-functional code reviews, including reviews of React frontend code, to ensure overall software quality, consistency and maintainability

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 3+ years of professional experience
• Solid foundations of the Java 8+ ecosystem and Spring/Spring Boot framework
• Experience in relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (Cassandra) database design
• You are interested in Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ and MQTT technologies and ideally you already have expertise in these areas
• Proven experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development workflow (e.g. code generation, code review, debugging, testing, documentation and collaborative development)
• Fluent in French, good knowledge of English;
  German is an asset
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is an asset
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into software algorithms and applications, including the use of AI models, APIs or machine learning techniques to enhance existing algorithms and develop intelligent features, is an asset
