Probation Case Manager – Gila County

The purpose of this position is to assist Probation Officers in monitoring clients' progress in meeting the terms and conditions of Probation. This position also provides administrative assistance on low risk and unsupervised probation cases.

Responsibilities include:

• Enforcement of collections of court‑ordered restitution, fines, fees, assessments and other monies owed to the Court.
• Providing notification to the Court when a probationer becomes in arrears of court‑ordered monthly payments.
• Providing victims with notification of court proceedings, any proposed modification to the terms of probation, or any violation of the terms of probation that results in the filing of a petition to revoke.
• Maintaining files and communicating with probationers and Probation Officers regarding the status of cases.
• Monitoring and tracking payments of probationers; notifying the Court of arrearages; assisting in the enforcement of collection of court‑order monies via collection calls and/or correspondence.
• Communicating with victims to ensure they receive notification of court proceedings, modification to terms of probation or any violation of the terms of probation that results in a petition to revoke.
• Providing clerical and administrative assistance on probation cases including unsupervised and low‑risk supervision caseloads; preparing court documents and written correspondence; entering data into case management systems; collecting data.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
