Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (Required)

• Active Arizona RN license (Registered Nurse, Arizona)

• Current certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross):

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• AFM

• No license hits (clean nursing license)

• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)

• Travel nursing experience preferred

• Must submit a copy of driver’s license (AZ home address not eligible)

• Compliance with facility background requirements Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods

• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, respond to emergencies, and assist with deliveries

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team

• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols

• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
