Responsibilities of the Welding Technology Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, update, and maintain curriculum aligned with industry and accreditation standards.
- Oversee daily program operations, ensuring qualified staffing and high-quality instruction.
- Prepare budget requests, manage program budgets, and handle approved purchasing of supplies and equipment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program operations, faculty, and students.
- Prepare accreditation documents and ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Track and report student completion, placement, and licensure outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local companies employing machinists.
- Plan, lead, and document annual advisory board meetings with industry partners.
- Grade student work and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends.
- Monitor student progress and attendance; develop Student Success Plans when appropriate.
- Track and file student Completion and Placement reports quarterly.

- Master essential technical and professional skills.
- Successfully complete their training.
- Earn industry credentials or licensure.
- Launch into meaningful employment in their field.

What We're Looking For:W e're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:
- Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent. Have a certificate or associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology from an accredited institution,
- Experience: A minimum of five years of industry experience. Teaching experience preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Must be a Certified Welding Inspector, and posess all welding certifications for the subject area taught. Must be proficient in laser, cobot, and robot welding. - Industry Knowledge &
Competencies:
