As a CT Technologist, you will assist radiologists with procedures, administer contrast, operate scanners, maintain a clean environment, and support patients.

• Administer oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam.
• Load and operate Med Rad power injector.
• Operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
• Move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
