As the CT/ MRI Technologist, you will perform variety of imaging procedures, including CT/MRI procedures, and will be responsible for patient safety protocols. You will be joining an amazing Imaging team that works hard to support each other. Our mission is to make sure the patients feel they are the center of all we do. We care like family.

In this role:

• You will perform CT and MRI examinations, which, involves a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation and magnetic fields in MRI for radiological diagnosis.
• You will be expected to perform procedures often requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to best demonstrate the anatomy of interest.
• You will be responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures.
• You must have advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment
• You will assume the responsibility of introducing the basics of CT and MRI technology and procedures to the staff and student Technologists.
• You will demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist
• Associate Degree
