Responsibilities- Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
- Leadership & Teamwork – Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
- Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
- Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
- Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
- Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through Auto Zone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
- Minimum Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years old to apply. - Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance:
Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to Auto Zone’s driver safety requirements to ensure responsible and secure vehicle operation. - Automotive Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - Exceptional Communication:
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English. - Automotive Retail:
Previous experience in automotive retail - Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus.
